Public Safety Training Academy

C4SEM Academy is a school designed to prepare law enforcement professionals through training and certification. We designed the courses in consultation with leaders within the law enforcement community and academy advisers specifically for criminal justice and law enforcement professionals, managers, and administrators. This ensures that our candidates and students are exposed to the policing, laws, tactics/practices, technologies, and skills required of leaders within the criminal justice field. Students are equipped with a knowledge base in U.S. law enforcement, criminology, investigations, and community relations.

C4SEM Academy offers over 1,300 hours of classroom and field instruction in more than 100 different subjects, including defensive tactics, crime scene investigation, ethics and leadership, survival Spanish, police professionalism, firearms, judicial procedures, officer survival, cultural diversity, and crisis management.

Candidates join a tight-knit network of peers who share the same goal to better society through the enforcement of local, state, and federal laws. They are taught by practitioner instructors, many of whom have served as sheriffs, legal counsel, police chiefs, military, and homeland security and intelligence leaders.

C4SEM courses and certification programs qualify for reimbursement from State Homeland Security Grant Program (SHSGP), Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI), and Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS) grant funds. Additionally, Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention (LETPP) funds can be utilized by law enforcement personnel to attend. Contact your training department to see if these reimbursements are available to you.
We are dedicated to providing the highest level of global training for military and law enforcement professionals. Any course can be conducted anywhere, anytime, and in any language or customized to meet unit, agency, or department needs. Custom course design and implementation allow for any desired capability and duration of training. All training includes course materials, supporting documentation, and POST credit approval documents.

In addition to our military and Government sector-specific training and certification programs, C4SEM training & certifications meet Indiana Law Enforcement Academy's (ILEA) law enforcement and safety officers' education and training requirements.

In-service training is one of the most important responsibilities of any law enforcement agency.

Training serves four basic objectives:

  • Well-trained personnel are better prepared to act decisively and correctly.

  • Training results in greater productivity and effectiveness.

  • Training nourishes cooperation and unity of purpose.

  • Provides safeguards for being legally accountable for the actions of personnel.

C4SEM Academy law enforcement in-service program provides these objectives with quality, up-to-date training.
