Certified Chief Security Officer (CCSO)


THIS CERTIFICATION IS ONLY OFFERED TO GOVERNMENT, MILITARY, AND LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL (QUALIFIED GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR EMPLOYEES WILL NEED APPROVAL). The Certified Chief Security Officer (CCSO) is designed as a "stand-alone" certification or can serve as a "step-up" program into the Certified Special Security Officer (CSSO). This certificate is designed for executives responsible for the organization's entire security posture and closely in related areas such as business continuity planning, loss prevention and fraud prevention, and privacy. The program is focused on security managers with four to eight years of experience, who have the skills and knowledge for the program and have experience with developing viable security plans and protection strategies for highly complex organizations. This certificate program is designed for lead security professionals who administer all aspects of security for classified programs.  The program provides a comprehensive overview of Homeland Security (DHS) and Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and applicable Policy Memorandums and Policy Guidance. The program also includes the fundamentals of planning, design, and/or construction for a Sensitive Compartmental Information Facility (SCIF). This is a vital certificate and is highly recommended for lead federal security, military, and law enforcement officers. This highly interactive course offers practical instruction on how to build a SCIF.
